I have a question Russ.

I have a question Russ. In FTM I have put many facts in for my 2nd great grandfather but just realized that a lot of them should be shared facts with his wife. Is there a way I can change this?

  1. I copy and paste so if there is a short cut, it would be good to know. Great question

    +Kim gave the answer.

I do have a question in return, which may be an additional step.

Were these "shared facts" referred to in the as a Citation in your 2nd great grandfather's facts? If so,  then you want to Copy the Citation from the facts that are Shared and use the last "Paste" of the Citation, when you apply the citation to that shared fact.

Great Question. (may have to do a blog post on this question)

    Thank you,

    Russ

  3. That could be a whole lot of copy and paste if you haven't shared through out a tree for a long period of time. will look forward to a blog post on this Russ.

My "sorta" answer is in my question. It would depend on the information in the Source document. IF I failed to record those facts for both and the Source contained information for both, I would simply enter the Facts on the Spouses screen and Copy Citation to each of those facts.
