Hi +Cousin Russ , I have had a very frustrating day. Am pretty green at using both the synch feature and Macs. I quickly wrote the following post and wondered if you, or any other community members can point out the blindingly obvious mistakes I must be making :)

ReplyDeleteCousin Russ , Thanks for your advice. I first downloaded this tree from my AMT 12 months ago in July 2013. The icons that shows red links is in the media space in my FTM for Mac. It was my first attempt at downloading a tree, and must have closed the program before the synch was complete, as the media still appear in the FTM Ottery-Bush Media folder on my computer. I will take Kim Hanks advice and ring the help line when time allows.

ReplyDeleteYou don't have to wait to do that. If the Links are broken (Red Links in the Media Workspace) AND you have images in the Media Folder, FTMM-2 has a utility, in the Media Menu (not workspace) to find and relink those images. AGAIN, if the Images are showing up as ICONS and not the pictures. FTMM-2 will find them, IF they are on your computer.
