I am new with FTMM3.

I am new with FTMM3. I am restarting by adding each person one by one with each source properly entered. I have not yet linked my software tree with my Ancestry tree. Is there a way to copy my software tree to my iPad  or iPhone? Thanks for all you do to inspire our community.

  1. Thanks for the clarification, it resembles FTM so closely I didn't realize the difference myself. So I have learned something as well. I appreciate your feedback.

Actually, if you had FTM2014 or FTMM-3 you might not jump to that conclusion. The APP on the mobile device is just link that Ancestry Member Tree / Public Member tree. Mostly because that is what you are looking at. IF you look at one of those online trees in your computer Browser, it will look just like the mobile device. The PC and Mac screens are different and the navigation is VERY different. Not to mention the Reports and Charts and other things you can do on the PC and/or Mac that you can't do in the AMT or the mobile device.

BUT it's ALL good. I never leave home without my tree.

  3. Digging out my iPad I have discovered that the icon clearly says Ancestry on it, so that tells you how long it's been since I've used my iPad for research. LOL
