Thought I would share a process that is working for me, when dealing with all of those Shaky Leaf hints

  1. I really like how you handle your shaky leaf hints by grouping them and doing a certain record at a time.  This will really speed up how I handle those hints.
Your other shaky leaf videos that I've watched, you have just scrolled through all your hints looking for a certain type of record (like SSDI).  In this video though, you only had that certain record type displayed.  This would save so much time!  How to you get it to filter to just one record type for you?

  2. Lisa McCown I have an EXCEL spreadsheet with links that point to my Ancestry Member Tree  (AMT) (tree number) and the specific Record Group (dbid). That takes my to my AMT showing those with records in that Record Group.

I do NOT work those hints from the AMT, but then return to FTM2014 to the people in that list and will find THAT record group listing on that persons Shaky Leaf in the Web Search workspace. I make sure that hint is for my person, then do the Web Merge and my normal, after Web Merge Clean up.

    Does that help?
