Sorry Russ - I didn't see this reply. Ancestry has many pluses and I am so grateful for all they have offered, but if the information does not offer a citation or some kind of documentation, I do not record it (or record with a notation). :/
Denise Wranik McLoughlin understood. BUT, looking at an Ancestry Member Tree, which is what I am guessing you are referring to, the information in that AMT MAY lead you do the record you are looking for. I Cite any AMT's that I look at, which is not too many, just so that I remember where I got the lead to a record. I may want to go back to the owner of that tree and make contact.
I understand & have done that as well. I.e. saved w/notation. I always enjoy heAring what others do & usually learn from their methods. Thanks for sharing.
