  1. Cousin Russ, do the shaking leaves only show up on FTM 2014?  I am using FTM 2012 and no shaky leaves show up on the FTM on my computer.  Thanks - love your lessons!    Kathy Champagne-Ainsworth

  2. Kathy Ainsworth Yes, I think so. Do you have your FTM2012 file uploaded and Sync'ed with an Ancestry Member Tree?

Actually, you DO have the shaky leaf feature in FTM2012. I blogged about it in 2011

  3. Cousin Russ, thanks for the link to your previous blogspot.
Yes, I have my FTM 2012 file uploaded and sync'ed with my ancestry member tree.  There are all sorts of shaky leaves when I'm in ancestry viewing my uploaded tree, however, when I'm in my FTM2012 program looking at my pedigree chart like I am seeing in your blog and videos I have no shaky leaves in that area at all.  :(     when in doubt check the manual!  oops - looked up shaky leaf - nothing, looked up hints - sent me to Ancestry hints - low and behold it showed me something to check under options - forgot to check a box.  magically I now have shaky leaves in my FTM 2012!   thanks for taking the time to help me with this - a little hand holding is sometimes helpful.
