  1. What number does Picasa make of the apps killed off by Google? I stopped using Google apps when they killed off Google Reader. :)

  2. Eileen Souza - That is like 'how many sources to I need .... " I understand what is going on. Am trying to use the new APP on my PC, but it is having issues backing up my files. I have used Google Photos on my smart phone and iPad, but haven't tried to many my photos as I have done with Picasa.

  3. Oh, no. I have over 100,000 photos tagged and organised in Pixasa.

  4. The article I read is most of what you have in Picasa is now in Google photos. Have you read differently?

  5. I switched to Google Photos a while ago. I use it on my phone and ipad and now on my desktop. My photos are automatically backed up to both Google Photos and Flickr. So my photos are in Google, Flickr, on my desktop or phone or ipad. My computer is also backed up automatically everyday. I had a bad experience and lost almost a whole years worth of photos. I could cry when ever I think about it! That will not happen again!!!

  6. Jenna Mills - That is my understanding. I am sitting here watching the Back Up FAIL. No clue shy. The help page doesn't help much either.

Shannon Thomas - I have been using it, but not like I use Picasa on my PC to manage the files. Working on it though.

  7. I haven't been putting my photos into Google photos. They are on two external HDDs.
